Sylo Taraku

Sylo Taraku is 47 years old, educated political scientist from the University of Bergen, and born and raised in Kosovo. When war broke out in Kosovo, he fled and came to Norway as a 17-year-old. He now lives in Drammen with his family.
Sylo’s primary subject areas are immigration, integration, populism, Islam and extremism. As an author, he has already published 3 recognized books on these topics.

Since 2016, Sylo Taraku has worked as a consultant in Tankesmien Agenda. During his professional career, he has held positions as Secretary General of NOAS, Deputy Director General of the UDI, Adviser to the Norwegian Helsinki Committee and Secretary General and co-founder of LIM (Gender Equality, Integration and Diversity).
